When you donate or shop at SLO Thrift, you’re not just supporting a thrift store — you’re supporting  local families in our community. The Foundation turns everyday generosity into meaningful impact right here in SLO.

We will give back by offering affordable, quality goods for everyone, partnering with other small businesses, creating local jobs, and giving back through SLO Thrift Foundation. 2026 Foundation Recipient is Make a Wish!

Every piece has a story! We source our goods from local estate sales, community donations, private sellers and collectors, and one-of-a-kind finds from our treasure-hunting adventures.

Absolutely! We gladly accept gently used home goods, décor, books, clothing, and more. 

Drop-off hours are Monday–Thursday, 10 AM–2 PM. 

For large or estate donations, call 805-439-4434 to arrange a drop-off or make pick up arrangements.

SLO Thrift and the SLO Thrift Foundation work together in a full-circle model of giving.
SLO Thrift accepts donated goods, keeps them in circulation through affordable resale, and uses a portion of the proceeds to support the Foundation. The SLO Thrift Foundation then uses those resources to support the San Luis Obispo County community through various giving options.
